What You’ll Actually Do
• Sample Trafficking: Facilitate the systematic movement and tracking of product samples to support various PR initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and return.
• Showroom Organization: Maintain an impeccably organized showroom environment, preparing it for stylist pulls and ensuring all items are accessible and presentable.
• Press Clipping Compilation: Diligently gather and compile press clippings, articles, and features that showcase client hits and brand mentions.
• Gifting Logistics: Execute the packing and shipping processes for influencer and celebrity gifting packages, ensuring accuracy and professional presentation.
• Press Pitch Assistance: Support the PR Specialist in drafting, refining, and distributing press pitches to media contacts, contributing to outreach strategies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled student eligible to receive college credit for the internship, possessing a strong, demonstrable interest in both the fashion industry and public relations practices.
• Experience: While no prior professional experience is explicitly required, candidates must be based in New York City and capable of committing to an in-person schedule of 2-4 days per week.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong communication and organizational abilities; proven capacity to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure; exceptional attention to detail; and a proactive, “can-do” attitude combined with a genuine desire to learn and contribute.
