The Tone:
This is an entry-level analyst role at Trigild, located in New York, NY. Trigild, with over 40 years of history, is a nationally recognized authority on non-performing commercial loans, expertly managing and operating hundreds of commercial properties including multifamily, office, retail, and hospitality assets. The company offers a comprehensive suite of services including property management, receivership, fiduciary, operations, consulting, and disposition. This role is designed to cultivate the next generation of Asset Managers, providing critical support to Asset Managers across a portfolio of distressed real estate assets by embracing modern analytical workflows and cutting-edge AI tools to enhance efficiency and insight beyond traditional methods.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build, maintain, and audit financial models, including cash flow projections, sale and refinance scenarios, waterfalls, and sensitivity analyses across diverse real estate assets.
• Document Review & Acceleration: Utilize AI tools to accelerate the review of critical documents such as leases, regulatory agreements, loan documents, court filings, and rent rolls, ensuring appropriate verification.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed property-level performance reports, including monthly variance analysis, budget-to-actual comparisons, and trend reporting for Asset Managers and lender clients.
• Underwriting Support: Provide support for underwriting new engagements, which involves pre-foreclosure assessments, takeover analysis, and the development of business plans.
• Workflow Development: Create tools, templates, dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows to enhance team productivity and improve visibility into asset performance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Math.
• Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience, with recent graduates encouraged to apply. Demonstrated active use of AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in coursework, previous roles, or personal projects.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities to build, audit, and explain financial models from scratch. Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, lookups, and model construction. Clear written and verbal communication skills for summarizing complex information.
• Bonus: Internship or prior experience in real estate, banking, accounting, special servicing, or restructuring. Familiarity with real estate finance, capital markets, or urban economics, especially concerning NYC multifamily or rent-regulated housing. Exposure to Argus, Yardi, or RealPage, and a basic understanding of receiverships, foreclosures, or CMBS/agency loan structures.
