Administrative Assistant | Systems Planning & Analysis
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), located in Chantilly, VA. SPA delivers high-impact, technical solutions to complex national security issues, serving the US Space Force, Intelligence Community, and NASA. This role provides crucial executive-level support to senior leadership within the Space and Intelligence Division, ensuring the smooth operation and strategic alignment of their critical defense initiatives.

• Mission: Provide comprehensive executive-level administrative support to senior leadership, ensuring efficient operations and strategic alignment within the division.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, TIER or equivalent platforms
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide executive-level support for senior leadership, preparing briefings, data, and preparatory materials for high-level meetings.
• Strategize: Develop and manage a monthly roadmap and annual strategy for leadership engagements, ensuring alignment with strategic guidance and organizational goals.
• Communicate: Draft and edit executive correspondence, synthesizing complex information into polished, accurate, and timely deliverables for leadership.
• Document: Create and maintain directorate-level reports, communications, and business documentation such as overviews, year-in-review summaries, and activity reports.
• Coordinate: Facilitate leadership engagements, including meetings, technical reviews, design reviews, forums, and protocol events.
• Track: Manage task tracking and formal actions through enterprise systems, ensuring responses adhere to organizational standards and are completed on time.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience providing executive-level administrative support in government, military, or large-scale corporate settings. Proven ability to create high-quality documentation and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, and demonstrated experience managing task-tracking systems.
• Skills: U.S. Citizenship required, with an active TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance.
• Bonus: Proactive interest in learning new skills, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC) structure. Expertise in managing task-tracking systems such as TIER, experience supporting leadership in protocol management for high-level engagements, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
