Merchandising Assistant | Windsor Fashions
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Windsor Fashions, located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Windsor Fashions is an apparel brand focused on delivering trend-right, must-have styles to its customers. This position is a crucial part of the team, providing essential support to the Buying Office through daily tasks. The role ensures efficient operations by coordinating samples, managing reports, and facilitating communication, directly contributing to the brand’s ability to bring its vision to life.

• Mission: To provide comprehensive operational support, ensuring smooth coordination of product information, samples, and communication to deliver desired styles to customers.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting & Analysis: Process, maintain, and distribute various daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including markdown simulations.
• Sample Management: Coordinate the complete lifecycle of product samples, from receiving, organizing, archiving, and purging, to preparing them for fit sessions and tracking them for shoots.
• Order Processing: Accurately enter new purchase orders and revisions, including cancellations, into the POE system, update physical sample tags, and confirm orders with vendors.
• Communication & Follow-up: Maintain email correspondence, ensure timely follow-up, and facilitate effective cross-functional communication with internal teams and external vendors.
• Visual Asset Coordination: Manage the Picture On Order system by uploading product pictures to the cloud, populate on-order areas with samples, and submit tear sheets to the creative team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A background in Fashion, Production, or related fields such as design, logistics, textiles, supply chain, or merchandising is beneficial.
• Experience: Entry-level to one year of experience in a Buying or Production Office, preferably with knowledge of the tops category.
• Skills:

• High degree of detail-orientation with a strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
• Adeptness at multitasking and quickly acquiring new skills.
