The Tone:
This is a contract role at a global leading entertainment and media organization, located in Franklin, TN, with a hybrid schedule. The client is a prominent player in the entertainment and media industry, providing a collaborative environment for this administrative support position. This role is crucial for assisting a specialized Film & TV team, focusing on the intricate processes of music cue sheet processing, copyright administration, and publishing registrations. It offers a unique entry-level chance to gain hands-on experience and receive comprehensive training within the complex world of film, television, music publishing, and copyright administration.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Input and manage music-related data, including copyright, publishing, and work registration details, into internal systems.
• Cue Sheet Processing: Collect, review, and process music cue sheet information for film and television productions.
• Data Validation: Identify song ownership, writer, and usage data from documentation to ensure records are accurate and validated.
• Issue Resolution: Research discrepancies, resolve data issues, and escalate complex concerns to management or team leads.
• Team Collaboration: Work with coordinators and department staff to complete daily operational tasks and support additional projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level career opportunity, ideal for individuals seeking foundational experience in administrative support and data management. While no specific education is required, previous exposure to data entry, operations, or related administrative fields is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in data entry, general administrative support, or operations is preferred. Candidates should be prepared for an onsite Excel skills assessment during the interview process, demonstrating their practical proficiency.
• Skills: Exceptional Microsoft Excel proficiency, including a preference for advanced formula knowledge. Strong command of Microsoft Word and Outlook is also required. Demonstrated excellent data entry, analytical, and organizational capabilities, paired with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Proven ability to effectively multitask and consistently meet deadlines within a high-volume work environment. Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills are essential for engaging with department staff.
• Bonus: Basic familiarity with Adobe applications is a plus. Any prior experience in the music business, publishing, entertainment, or copyright domain, though not required, will be considered beneficial.
