The Tone:
This is an on-site internship position at Genzest LLC, located in West Hollywood, CA. Genzest LLC supports Nailphoria, a company that believes self-care should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, offering press-on nails designed to be effortless, affordable, and stylish. This role is pivotal in supporting Nailphoria’s day-to-day livestream operations, contributing to their mission to empower confidence and creativity by helping customers feel confident in their everyday life. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in e-commerce live streaming and digital operations, ensuring smooth execution and engaging content.

The TL;DR

• Type: Part-time (approximately 16-25 hours/wk)

• Pay: $20 hourly
• Mission: This person will support day-to-day livestream operations, ensuring smooth execution and optimal presentation for engaging viewer experiences.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Setup: Assist with setting up and monitoring livestream sessions.
• Presentation: Support hosts by arranging livestream scenes and product displays for optimal presentation.
• Engagement: Engage with viewers in a professional and interactive manner.
• Analysis: Collect and analyze livestream performance data to provide insights for optimization.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to improve livestream processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current student or recent graduate in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in sales, e-commerce, or live-streaming is a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret livestream performance data effectively to provide actionable insights; excellent written and verbal communication skills required for engaging with viewers and collaborating with internal teams; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while quickly adapting to new workflows and technical requirements.
• Bonus: Mandarin and English proficiency, which would be beneficial to support cross-team communication and broaden audience engagement; ability to maintain an engaging on-camera presence during livestream sessions to enhance viewer interaction; a creative sense for product presentation and visual arrangement to optimize displays; and knowledge of live-streaming platforms/software to support technical requirements.
