Paid Fall People Operations Intern | Insomniac Events
The Tone:
This is a paid, part-time internship at Insomniac Events, located in Calabasas, CA. Insomniac creates some of the world’s most creative and immersive music festivals and events, captivating millions annually with state-of-the-art production, large-scale art, and theatrical performances. With 10,000 concerts, club nights, and festivals produced globally each year, including the massive Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Insomniac prioritizes an unparalleled Headliner experience. This People Operations Intern role is crucial for supporting the team with essential administrative, recruiting, and project coordination tasks, offering hands-on experience across a variety of HR functions that underpin the company’s extensive operations.

• Mission: This role supports the People Operations team by managing administrative tasks, recruiting logistics, and internal project coordination.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruiting Coordination: Coordinate interview schedules and gather candidate availability to streamline the hiring process.
• Candidate Management: Assist with candidate communication and manage general recruiting logistics, including monitoring, triaging, and organizing the recruiting inbox.
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative tasks for the People Operations team, including data entry and ongoing document upkeep.
• Resource Development: Help update internal templates, forms, and various internal resources to ensure team efficiency.
• Project Assistance: Support the planning and preparation for company activities, team initiatives, and conduct research for company-related projects, including tracking follow-ups and deadlines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school, and at least 18 years of age.
• Experience: Self-motivated and driven, with a Human Resources spirit, demonstrating resourcefulness, forward thinking, and commitment.
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a sense of urgency for various projects.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing tasks, data entry, and document upkeep.
• Effective communication for coordinating with candidates and supporting internal teams.
• Ability to track follow-ups, deadlines, and ongoing administrative tasks.
• Bonus: Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands.
