Talent Acquisition Intern | FreshDirect

The Tone:
This is an internship at FreshDirect, located in Bronx, NY. FreshDirect is building an advanced, technology-powered food supply chain that reimagines the grocery experience for customers. This role provides practical experience in talent acquisition, covering full-cycle recruiting, candidate coordination, employer branding, and operational projects within a demanding work environment.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Bronx, NY
• Pay: $23–$25 hourly
• Team: Talent Acquisition team, reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager
• Mission: This person supports the Talent Acquisition team by assisting with full-cycle recruiting, candidate coordination, employer branding, and various Talent Acquisition projects.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), LinkedIn, job boards, ATS platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support the recruitment process for recruiters and hiring managers.
• Coordinate: Schedule interviews and manage candidate communications.
• Source: Source candidates using job boards and LinkedIn.
• Administer: Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Prepare: Prepare for new hire onboarding and coordinate new employee activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. A strong interest in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience with LinkedIn, job boards, or ATS platforms is a plus.
