This position serves as an excellent entry point into the insurance and renewable energy underwriting space, supporting the lifecycle of complex renewable energy policies within a data-driven environment. The role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency by supporting submissions, policy issuance, and reporting activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist underwriting teams across the entire policy lifecycle, from submission intake through policy issuance and post-bind servicing.
• Document: Build and maintain Statement of Value (SOV) files and other essential underwriting documentation using Excel and internal systems.
• Issue: Prepare, generate, and issue policy documents with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.
• Manage: Oversee high-volume underwriting inboxes, triaging incoming requests and ensuring their proper routing to relevant teams.
• Maintain: Enter, verify, and uphold data integrity across all underwriting platforms and internal systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset with willingness to learn and collaborate across teams.
