Graduate Intern for Undergraduate Admission | Regis College
The Tone:
This is a 12-month, 30-hour/week internship at Regis College, located in Weston, MA. Regis College is dedicated to providing an inclusive and diverse educational community for its students. This Graduate Intern position is central to the Undergraduate Admission team, focusing on supporting on-campus recruitment for prospective first-year and transfer students. The role offers a valuable opportunity for developmental and professional learning while pursuing a graduate degree, contributing directly to the college’s enrollment goals and student experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Office Operations: Act as a core member of the Undergraduate Admission Office, attending weekly staff meetings and providing updates on assigned projects.
• Campus Engagement: Serve as counselor of the day, conducting on-campus information sessions and providing campus tours, including during the busy fall travel season when student tour guides are unavailable.
• Student Program Support: Assist with the management and mentorship of the Pride Guide program.
• Application Processing: Support admission counselors by accurately assisting with GPA recalculations for applicants, aiding in their reading territories.
• Event Coordination & Campus Support: Act as a liaison to various campus offices to support major recruitment events, including open houses and yield events, provide limited recruitment travel support, and serve on the Inclement Weather and Emergency Closure On-Call Team for campus operations and residential student support during closures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, as well as admission to one of Regis College’s graduate programs.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest or experience in higher education, leadership development, and event management.
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to uphold inclusive excellence within a diverse educational community.
