What You’ll Actually Do
Game Day Operations: Facilitate media relations tasks during all home games, including credentialing, press-box setup, and hospitality.
Information Distribution: Distribute statistics and notes to media, scouts, and team staff before, during, and after games.
Press Box Management: Maintain the press box and media work room, ensuring an organized environment for media.
Content Support: Help compile daily news clippings for internal distribution and contribute to game notes.
Research & Administration: Research and maintain team and player statistics, and provide administrative support to the Communications Department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Aspiring public relations professional seeking to learn the team-side of the business.
• Experience: Previous public relations, communications, or journalism experience is a plus.
• Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using AP Style, and possesses strong hockey knowledge.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Adobe suites, including Photoshop and InDesign, is preferred.
