Construction Management Internship – Spring 2027 | Enerfab

The Tone:

• Mission: To support active construction projects through technical and commercial documentation, cost estimation, and robust project closeout procedures, while also contributing to safety and quality management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Blueprint Interpretation: Utilize computer programs, specifically Bluebeam and CAD, to interpret and work with both 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Project Documentation & Submittals: Collaborate with the Project Team to identify, produce, and provide essential project-specific technical and commercial documents, including specifications, drawings, and scope of work, to aid in active construction project execution and support various departments.
• Cost Estimation Assistance: Provide support to lead estimators in the development of detailed project estimates for potential new business opportunities.
• Project Closeout Management: Facilitate the final stages of projects by collecting required documents, reviewing change orders and modifications, ensuring all order specifications are met, and identifying key learnings for future projects.
• Safety & Quality Analysis: Conduct root cause analyses for any safety or quality incidents to ensure effective controls are implemented, preventing future occurrences and improving overall project standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience: Proficiency in Windows applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Skills: Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication abilities, and demonstrated thorough attention to detail.
• Bonus: A genuine interest in pursuing a future career in the construction field, specifically within industrial construction.
