Graphic Design Intern | Helios & Partners

This is a full-time internship role at Helios & Partners, situated in their Santa Monica office. This position is strategically important, providing direct support to the creative team in the comprehensive production of a wide array of digital, print, and social media content, while simultaneously exploring valuable opportunities to collaborate on nascent UX/UI projects. What You’ll Actually Do
• Print Design: Assist in the comprehensive design and adaptation of various print materials, encompassing flyers, banners, brochures, packaging, and branded merchandise.
• OOH Visuals: Support the creation of impactful out-of-home visuals, including large-scale billboards, street furniture ads, and digital signage.
• Brand Activations: Collaborate on the development of engaging visual materials for brand activations, pop-up events, and promotional activities.
• Social Media Content: Adapt existing creative concepts into compelling social media pieces across static, carousel, and animated formats.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent brand representation across all assets and formats, maintaining uniformity both online and offline.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Applicants should be currently studying or have recently graduated from a program in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a closely related creative field. This role is ideal for a student or early career professional seeking practical experience.
• Experience: Candidates must possess basic proficiency in key Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Familiarity with current social media formats and prevailing content trends is essential. Prior experience with creating mockups, utilizing layout grids, or engaging in packaging design will be highly valued.
• Skills: A strong, meticulous attention to detail and a refined sense of visual composition are critical. The intern should demonstrate an eagerness to learn about specific production specifications, various content formats, and the practicalities of real-world brand execution. A genuine interest in branding principles, event design, print media, and advertising design is also required.
• Bonus: An expressed interest in motion design, or practical experience with emerging AI tools for content generation, such as Midjourney, Sora, Nano Banana, or Firefly, will be considered a significant advantage.
