SAP iXp Intern – Marketing Events | SAP
The Tone:
This is an internship at SAP, located in Alpharetta, GA. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Limited Full Time
• Location: In-person, Alpharetta, GA
• Team: Marketing Content and Engagement team for the Spend Management and Finance line of business under the office of the CMO. This is a diverse team with experienced marketers in four countries, with multiple team members based in Atlanta.
• Mission: Support the Marketing Content and Engagement team in promoting and executing global third-party events and a user community event in Las Vegas in October 2026.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist with key activities and executional elements at events, including managing the show floor, breakout sessions, and special programs.
• Manage: Handle administrative tasks such as preparing weekly updates and overseeing back-end processes for marketing activities.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the communications and content leads to ensure alignment and execution of all required tasks.
• Develop: Support the communications strategy by updating website content and organizing materials for the web team.
• Report: Help compile content from various sources into one comprehensive weekly report for marketing leadership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student with a background in marketing.
• Experience: Exposure to social media and an understanding of pull marketing, along with an understanding of how events fit into the overall marketing channels.
• Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills, detail-oriented, and self-structured in their approach to work.
• Bonus: Has a strong customer/user-focused mindset, is self-motivated with a proactive approach, comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, and willing to travel if needed.
