The Tone:
This is an internship at Phamily, located in New York, NY, operating on a 5-day in-office schedule. Phamily, the core technology platform of Jaan Health, is an AI-based care management company that leverages proprietary technology to help healthcare providers deliver high-quality, high-ROI proactive care and manage chronic diseases. • Team: Reports to Director of Business Intelligence
• Mission: This person will help teams turn data into decisions by translating business questions into clear dashboards, reports, and actionable insights that drive decision-making throughout the organization.
• Tech Stack: Looker, spreadsheets, Tableau, Power BI

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Assist with building dashboards, reports, and one-pagers to answer stakeholder questions.
• Content Management: Help curate and organize content within Looker, including dashboards, descriptions, and table calculations.
• Data Quality: Support the documentation and validation of metric definitions and reporting standards, performing quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Training: Assist with developing lightweight training materials and self-service resources for internal teams.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams on reporting and data initiatives, handling sensitive healthcare information responsibly while following HIPAA-minded best practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field at an accredited university.
• Experience: Interest in data analysis, business intelligence, and data storytelling, with familiarity with spreadsheets and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Exposure to healthcare, operations, or business analytics coursework or projects; familiarity with basic reporting, segmentation, or data visualization concepts; experience working on academic or personal data projects.
