Business Development Intern | Telesat

The Tone:
This is an internship at Telesat, located in Arlington, VA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the satellite industry. As an intern, you will work closely with our TGS team to support various projects and initiatives. This role involves assisting with research, data analysis, and contributing ideas to help drive innovation within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Assist with gathering data and analyzing findings for various research tasks.
• Project Support: Support the Business Development team in organizing and executing project plans.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm ideas and contribute to project development.
• Administrative Assistance: Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, and organizing documents.
• Process Improvement: Take initiative to propose and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, preferably in engineering, computer science, technical business management or related field. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Experience: No specific years required.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus: Previous internship or relevant work experience is a plus.
