Project Management Project Intern (Real Estate & Facilities – AMS) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | ByteDance

The Tone:
This is an internship at ByteDance, located in the America Region, with a 2026 start date. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, America Region
• Pay: $25 hourly
• Team: Real Estate & Facilities team, reporting to Project Managers
• Mission: To support the lifecycle of office development projects across the America Region and ensure timely, financially accountable project delivery.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design Support: Support the Project Management team in design analysis and technical review processes to align with company standards.
• Project Tracking: Assist in tracking project schedules and monitoring budgets to ensure timely delivery and financial accountability.
• Payment Coordination: Coordinate the end-to-end payment process, including reviewing invoices, tracking change orders, and reconciling costs.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a liaison between the Real Estate & Facilities team, various internal departments, and external partners to drive project alignment and resolve bottlenecks.
• Status Reporting: Maintain project dashboards and logs to provide real-time updates on project status, risks, and contingencies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or recent graduate pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required beyond academic background.
• Skills: Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good time management, ability to multitask, and adaptability to shifting priorities; motivation to learn new tools and systems; self-motivation with a strong desire to learn and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Bonus: Prior internship or academic project experience in design, construction, or corporate real estate; familiarity with project management tools or software; exposure to construction industry terms and processes through coursework or internships.
