Corporate Recruiter (Entry-Level) | DK Security
The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-office role at DK Security, located in Michigan. Established in 1995, DK Security has grown from an investigations firm to provide uniform security, event staff, loss prevention services, and more. This role is critical in staffing the outstanding officers who represent the company, directly contributing to company growth and client confidence. What You’ll Actually Do
• Candidate Sourcing: Source, screen, and select qualified candidates to become valuable assets for the company.
• Hiring and Onboarding: Hire and onboard qualified candidates, seamlessly transitioning them into company employees.
• Site Familiarization: Become familiar with various assigned job sites, learning their unique requirements and effectively communicating company policies to new employees.
• Operational Communication: Communicate daily with operations management regarding site needs and report on recruiting efforts for critical sites.
• Emergency Response: Respond in the field to emergency coverage requests as a security officer, with provided training and uniforms.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring completion of High School or a GED.
• Experience: Core computer skills are essential, including typing data into spreadsheets and word processors, proficiency with a computer mouse, keyboard, multiple monitor setup, and creating/maintaining documents in Microsoft Office.
• Skills: Must possess clear English language proficiency (speak, comprehend, read, write), excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to remain calm and focused, and a valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 at-fault accidents or 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
• Bonus: Prior experience in security field work is highly preferred.
