What You’ll Actually Do
• Candidate Sourcing & Vetting: Proactively source and vet potential candidates by strategically posting job vacancies across various social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, to attract a diverse pool of talent.
• Interview & Selection Support: Conduct initial interviews with prospective candidates, meticulously evaluating their qualifications and cultural fit before effectively passing on a curated selection of qualified individuals to internal decision-makers for final review.
• Policy & Procedure Development: Be instrumental in setting comprehensive company policies and procedures, encompassing guidelines for employee conduct, performance management, and disciplinary actions to ensure a fair and consistent workplace.
• Regulatory Compliance: Utilize a strong understanding of both industry-specific and overarching government regulations to meticulously create, update, and implement effective human resources policies and operational procedures that ensure legal compliance and best practices.
• HR Administration & Documentation: Take charge of essential HR administrative duties, which include drafting and posting detailed job descriptions aligned with identified organizational needs, as well as accurately filing new hire paperwork and diligently maintaining disciplinary records for each employee.

• Background: This internship opportunity is specifically designed for students who are actively pursuing education and possess a foundational understanding of Human Resources principles, practices, and their application within an organizational context.
• Experience: Demonstrated exposure to or practical experience in key HR functions such as candidate sourcing, conducting initial interviews, developing company policies and procedures, and managing employee-related administrative tasks and documentation.
• Skills: Proficiency in candidate sourcing techniques, effective interviewing methodologies, the ability to draft clear and compliant policies, a working knowledge of relevant industry and government regulations, and strong organizational skills for administrative support.
