This position bridges the worlds of data and English writing, where your precision in reading comprehension and textual annotation will directly contribute to enhancing machine learning capabilities.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Refine AI models by accurately labeling machine learning textual data, ensuring high-quality input for AI development.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Label: Accurately label machine learning textual data using various methods to refine AI models.
• Annotate: Primarily annotate large volumes of textual data following predefined guidelines.
• Collaborate: Work with team members to identify and implement improvements to the labeling interface or processes.
• Complete: Finish all assignments by their deadlines while consistently meeting team expectations and goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. This is an entry-level position focused on reading comprehension and writing.
• Experience: Not specified in years, but a demonstrated ability to read, write, and summarize at a high volume and high accuracy is required.
• Skills: Strong reading comprehension and writing skills, ability to understand and interpret complex and diverse texts, and a typing speed between 30-60 words per minute, coupled with strong pattern recognition.
• Bonus: Experience with data labeling and data annotation; sharpness and ability to navigate ambiguous technical jargon.
