The Tone:
This is an internship at Tesla, located in Palo Alto, CA. Tesla is focused on powering a sustainable and autonomous future, encompassing technologies like Full Self-Driving, Robotaxi, AI, Optimus, Dojo, and advanced vehicle software. This role is crucial for identifying and attracting the top software talent necessary to develop these critical systems. As an intern, you will contribute directly to the success of engineering teams by helping to bring exceptional candidates to the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sourcing: Proactively source and identify high-quality technical candidates using various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, GitHub, LLM, and other platforms.
• Pipeline Management: Support the team in building and maintaining pipelines of qualified software candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Relationship Building: Assist in developing working relationships with recruiters, business leaders, and hiring managers.
• Process Learning: Gain a solid understanding of recruiting and sourcing processes within a dynamic environment.
• Candidate Experience: Help provide a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Available for a minimum of 12+ weeks for the internship; able to work full-time, 32+ hours per week.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; self-starter, results oriented, resourceful, analytical, intellectually curious, takes initiative and risks; demonstrates strong ability to embrace and adapt to change, takes initiative and showcases curiosity; learns quickly; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools/programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Bonus: Previous work experience or internships in a related field.
