Supply Chain Intern | Four Hands

The Tone:
This is an internship at Four Hands, located in Austin, TX. Four Hands is a leading designer and wholesaler of furniture and décor, helping people create spaces that feel like home with a team of over 800 employees. This role offers hands-on experience supporting vendor management and supply chain operations, directly contributing to accurate and on-time product delivery. This internship is an opportunity for students to build skills in operations, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration within the furniture industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Vendor Relationships: Assist in maintaining strong vendor relationships by following established vendor management processes.
• Data Accuracy: Support data and system accuracy to ensure alignment with product management and supply chain strategies.
• Production Monitoring: Help monitor vendor lead times, production changes, and capacity fluctuations to reduce risk and improve service efficiency.
• Purchase Order Management: Partner with suppliers to help issue and manage purchase orders and ensure production confirmations align with requested dates.
• Delivery Initiatives: Review production reports and support on-time delivery initiatives by flagging risks or inconsistencies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Comfortable working with data, reports, and systems.
• Skills: Data analysis, production tracking, purchase order management, cross-functional collaboration.
• Bonus: Excel experience.
