Android Developer Intern – Fall 2026 | Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze requirements and design core software components and services for the infotainment system.
• Implement and ensure quality assurance for core software components and services.
• Deploy and continuously improve core software components and services for the infotainment system.
• Innovate and experiment with new designs and processes to make software more robust, secure, and scalable.
• Work with cross-functional hardware and software teams to explore and define the next-generation infotainment experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field at a US university.
• Experience: Not specified, but experience in system-level software development for mobile or embedded systems is preferred.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills. Understanding of modern SoC architectures and operating system fundamentals.
• Bonus: Experience in system-level software development for Linux or Android.
