Investor Relations Analyst | Gateway Group
The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at Gateway Group, located in Newport Beach, CA. Gateway is a leading financial communications and digital media advisory firm that has specialized in assisting emerging growth companies for over 25 years. This entry-level position helps drive success in the capital markets by developing and delivering financial-oriented communications for a portfolio of micro- and small-cap publicly traded clients. The role offers meaningful exposure to the capital markets, including both the buy-side and sell-side.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Draft: Produce accurate and timely financial communication materials for clients, including press releases, earnings scripts, and corporate profiles.
• Support: Coordinate the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting, earnings releases, earnings calls, and other material company disclosures.
• Research: Analyze client shareholder bases, analyst consensus estimates, and market activity for strategic reporting and presentation development.
• Create: Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations and pitch books utilizing detailed company, peer, and industry data.
• Monitor: Track financial news and market trends, providing timely daily or weekly briefings to clients and internal teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related field, coupled with a foundational understanding of the capital markets.
• Experience: Prior client-facing, customer service, or professional services experience.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Interest or experience working with clients across diverse industries (technology, consumer, finance, business services, industrials) and familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms.
