M&A / Corporate Development Summer 2026 Intern | Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health
The Tone:
This is a full-time paid Summer 2026 internship at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health, located on-site in McKinney, TX, a suburb of Dallas. Angels of Care is a leading pediatric home health agency, providing high-quality home health care services to medically fragile children across ten states, including Texas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania. With a robust team of over 10,000 healthcare professionals, the company delivers essential services like private duty nursing, skilled nursing, and therapy. This M&A / Corporate Development Intern role is vital for supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives, by identifying, evaluating, and executing potential investment and acquisition opportunities that will expand compassionate and professional care to more families with special needs children and young adults.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisition targets, meticulously examining data to support comprehensive evaluations.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze complex financial data and prepare detailed financial reports to inform investment decisions and strategic planning.
• Opportunity Evaluation: Evaluate potential investment and acquisition opportunities, assessing company fit, market attractiveness, and relative priority across a large universe of targets.
• Transaction Support: Assist the corporate development team with various aspects of transaction execution and ongoing M&A initiatives.
• Market Research: Gather and synthesize market research to identify, screen, compare, and prioritize potential acquisition candidates efficiently.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong Excel skills, ability to use data effectively to screen and prioritize acquisition targets, and proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, synthesize information, and improve workflow efficiency.
• Skills: Highly analytical and detail-oriented, AI-forward and resourceful, strong business judgment and curiosity, proactive, hungry, hardworking with a willingness to dig in and solve problems, and organized and reliable in managing multiple M&A initiatives and follow-ups.
