Assistant, International Marketing | Warner Music Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time assistant role at Warner Music Group, located in Los Angeles, CA, requiring 4 days per week in-office. Warner Music Group is a global music company that helps artists turn dreams into stardom and audiences into fans across a diverse range of labels and publishing. This role is crucial for supporting the global rollout of artists’ careers signed to Warner Records US, ensuring seamless coordination and administrative support for international marketing efforts.

• Mission: Provides essential administrative support and acts as a liaison to global affiliates, ensuring the smooth operation of international artist marketing.
• Tech Stack: Google Suite, Luminate, Chartmetric, Radiomonitor, Spotify for Artists

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage executive calendars: Schedule internal meetings and calls for department heads across global time zones.
• Coordinate travel logistics: Arrange complex domestic and international travel for executives and artists, and process expense reports.
• Oversee asset management: Distribute creative assets, including music, artwork, and video content, to international teams via secure platforms.
• Support marketing communications: Create and distribute weekly release schedules, marketing materials, and newsletters to global teams.
• Track global performance: Compile weekly reports on music consumption, radio charts, and social media analytics.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role focused on supporting international marketing efforts within the global music business.
• Experience: At least one year of administrative experience, with music industry internships or agency experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite, strong prioritization and time zone management abilities, exceptional written and verbal communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Familiarity with music consumption platforms, a genuine interest in music and global markets, and an appreciation for diverse cultures and business practices.
