Managed Lending Partner Success Intern | Kiva
The Tone:
This is a part-time volunteer internship at Kiva, located remotely in the United States. Kiva is a global nonprofit founded in 2005, dedicated to expanding financial access and helping underserved communities thrive through crowdfunded loans. The organization has facilitated over $2 billion in loans across more than 100 countries, supporting over 5 million borrowers. This role is essential for improving internal documentation and partner-facing resources within the Managed Lending team, ensuring efficient operations and a stronger experience for Kiva’s institutional partners.

• Mission: Improve how Kiva documents, organizes, and shares information across internal teams and external partners.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Documentation Leadership: Lead the audit, organization, and standardization of internal documentation to enhance clarity and accessibility across the team.
• Process Mapping: Document key processes, systems, and workflows by collaborating with team members to capture operational details.
• Resource Improvement: Contribute to improving partner-facing resources by auditing existing materials and identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated content.
• Content Development: Draft and update content for partner resources, ensuring messaging is clear, accurate, and aligned with Kiva’s voice.
• Operational Support: Provide operational support during high-volume periods, including assisting with the partner help queue and supporting reporting scheduling needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Commitment to a high-caliber learning experience focused on documentation, content development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age by July 14th, 2026, and able to commit to the full 6-month term (July 14th, 2026 – December 31st, 2026).
• Skills: Strong critical thinking with an eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication, highly proactive and able to work independently, highly organized, and intermediate skills in Google Docs, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Enjoys problem-solving and relationship building, with an aptitude for working effectively in a startup environment.
