• Mission: Responsible for onsite patient registration, arrival processes, discharge, and insurance validation, while resolving issues related to patient accounts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Area Functions: Execute all assigned departmental functions in adherence to established guidelines.
• Support Department Operations: Fulfill administrative duties to ensure the department functions according to defined policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Ensure Data Accuracy: Accurately and thoroughly enter all patient cases into the admissions, discharge, transfer, and billing system.
• Provide Patient Service: Offer customer service and status updates to patients in waiting rooms, in-room, and prior to their departure.
• Facilitate Payments: Request payments and provide necessary payment plan information for patient account balances.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED; applies knowledge of standards, established processes, and procedures that apply to their job.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Skills: Documentation, Critical Thinking, Data Entry, Customer Service, System Knowledge.
