Project Coordinator Intern – Change Management | McKesson
The Tone:
This is a full-time, 8-month internship at McKesson’s Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), located onsite in Nashville, TN. McKesson, through SCRI, is a leading oncology research organization focused on advancing cancer treatments and improving patient outcomes globally by conducting community-based clinical trials. This role supports the Change Management team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of activities to facilitate successful organizational transformations in support of SCRI’s mission.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordination: Coordinate and track change management tasks, timelines, and dependencies across communications, training, forums, and leader cascades.
• Tracking: Maintain action logs, trackers, and schedules to ensure deliverables are completed on time and accurately.
• Communication Support: Assist in drafting, updating, and managing change communications, FAQs, and SharePoint content.
• Material Preparation: Support the development and distribution of forum slides, talking points, and leader materials.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain and update Change and MRT SharePoint sites, including calendars, training materials, videos, FAQs, and feedback tools.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• Experience: Comfortable using Microsoft tools including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on task tracking and follow-through; clear and professional written and verbal communication; high attention to detail and quality control; collaborative working style with stakeholder awareness.
• Bonus: Previous internship, campus leadership, or project-based experience; interest in change management, communications, and organizational transformation.
