The Tone:
This is a full-time role for an Attendant at Metropolis Technologies, located in Atlanta, GA. This Attendant position is critical to achieving that mission, directly ensuring the efficient operation, safety, cleanliness, and overall positive experience for customers at parking locations. The role contributes significantly to giving individuals back their valuable time by ensuring a smooth and hassle-free “drive in and drive out” process.
The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Parking Operations Management: Oversee the flow of incoming customers by directing them to available spaces, ensure appropriate car numbers are maintained, and confirm vehicles are parked correctly throughout the shift.
• Policy Enforcement and Patrol: Actively patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, issuing violation warnings to tenants and visitors who do not comply with garage policies.
• Direct Customer Service: Provide courteous and helpful assistance to customers, including answering questions, directing them to their parked vehicles, and escalating complex inquiries to the Facility Manager as needed.
• Facility Maintenance and Traffic Control: Manage traffic at entrances and exits, communicate immediately about any debris, spills, or safety hazards, and assist the Facility Manager with general maintenance tasks and parking equipment repair.
• Operational Readiness and Support: Maintain a consistent presence by being at work on time and in uniform, acquire and apply thorough knowledge of all garage areas and surrounding local landmarks, and support the Facility Manager and other team members as required, including substituting for Valets when authorized.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates should possess less than a high school education or have at least one month of related experience, specialized training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to understand and follow simple instructions, read short correspondence and memos, and clearly communicate in writing through simple correspondence.
• Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers, multiplying and dividing with tens and hundreds, and accurately handling American money. This role also requires maintaining a neat, clean appearance and wearing a complete uniform at all times.
• Bonus: Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends is beneficial. A valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record is required only if the role involves driving a company vehicle or conducting company business.
