The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal
• Location: In-person, Clinton, MD

• Team: Technology Services team and Project Site Supervision
• Mission: Support project teams in day-to-day activities associated with the installation, coordination, and integration of low-voltage systems and building technologies within the Fleet and Tools side of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety Support: Assist in supporting safe work practices and conditions during the distribution and maintenance of the tool catalog.
• Compliance Checks: Help conduct compliance checks and audits related to structured cabling, access control, audiovisual, and other low-voltage systems.
• Orientation Delivery: Participate in delivering site-specific orientation for Fleet and Tools personnel and subcontractors.
• Incident Prevention: Support the development and execution of strategies to prevent workplace incidents related to fleet and tools.
• Project Support: Provide on-site support for Technology Services projects and events as directed by the Fleet and Tools Director.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong desire to start a career in the technology services or electrical construction industry.
• Skills: Superior communication skills, both written and verbal; outstanding interpersonal and team collaboration skills; strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work throughout technology-related projects.
• Bonus: Prior experience in technology services, construction, or field support.
