Quality Assurance (QA) Intern | GenScript

This is a Summer Internship at GenScript USA Inc., located in Redmond, WA. • Mission: Support the Quality Assurance team by performing various compliance, research, and administrative tasks to maintain quality standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Review Documentation: Systematically review both controlled and executed documentation to verify adherence to good documentation practices and established Document Control procedures.
• Evaluate Processes: Examine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and their affiliated forms, providing support for assessments to identify potential improvements and streamline processes.
• Manage Documents: Support the operational aspects of document processing, ensuring the efficient and timely relay of requests for document creation and revision.
• Reconcile Records: Assist with the reconciliation reviews for documentation related to both the training program and raw materials management.
• Support Audits & Analysis: Provide assistance in preparations for internal audits and contribute to data analysis efforts to identify significant trends and opportunities for process improvement within the QA framework.

• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (senior status) or Master’s degree (any status), or a recent graduate within the last year.

• Skills: Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills, including the willingness to ask questions, express confusion, and escalate problems as necessary; possess the ability to efficiently transition between multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities within the team; exhibit a strong sense of responsibility, a proactive work attitude, and a willingness to engage with repetitive tasks when required; apply effective time management and organizational skills to handle various quality assurance tasks systematically.
