What You’ll Actually Do
• Development: Participate actively in the design and implementation of components for a large-scale Ads system.
• Project Ownership: Lead the development of state-of-the-art applied machine learning projects from conception to execution.
• Strategy: Own and optimize key targeting components or strategies within the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product and business teams to align technical development with product vision and goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant technical majors.
• Experience: Demonstrated theoretical understanding and practical engagement with machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Skills: Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in at least one of Go, C/C++, or Python; proficiency with machine learning frameworks like Tensorflow, PyTorch, or MXNet; ability to think critically and formulate clear problem solutions.
• Bonus: Prior experience or strong interest in areas such as Ads systems, recommendation engines, search technologies, or ranking algorithms.
