This is a part-time role at Kiahuna Golf Club, located in Koloa, HI. You will be joining Troon, a global leader in golf and community management, overseeing more than 900 locations across 45+ states and 27+ countries. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of the property and ensuring every guest experiences welcoming and professional service. Your contributions will directly support the club’s operations and uphold Troon’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.

• Mission: This person contributes to the seamless daily operations of Kiahuna Golf Club, delivering excellent guest experiences through direct service, facility support, and efficient golf play management.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Property Maintenance: Assist actively in the general upkeep and aesthetic presentation of the Kiahuna Golf Club property, contributing to a consistently pleasant environment for all visitors.
• Guest Services: Deliver sincere and polite service to all club guests, encompassing practical tasks such as handling golf bags and thoroughly cleaning clubs as needed.
• Player Guidance: Offer support in educating players about the game of golf and provide direction for the start of play to ensure smooth and orderly course access.
• Club Rentals: Manage the process for guests renting golf clubs, which includes maintaining accurate rental records and ensuring all clubs are cleaned thoroughly upon their return.
• Operational Assistance: Provide hands-on support for various food and beverage activities and other operational duties as required to facilitate the club’s overall functioning.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suitable for a student or entry-level professional who is seeking practical experience within the hospitality or golf course management industry.
• Experience: Requires at least one month of previous related experience or formal training in a relevant field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of service or operational roles.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability in customer interaction and service delivery; capability for basic record-keeping accuracy; effective communication skills; foundational knowledge of golf etiquette and game play; and willingness to assist with general hospitality functions.
