This role is crucial for developing and optimizing strategies within the TikTok Shop’s affiliate operations, directly impacting creator engagement and driving sales for merchants. The Merchandising Strategy Manager Intern will contribute to building products that empower creators to promote merchandise and achieve significant commercial success within the e-commerce ecosystem.

• Team: Creator and affiliate product team
• Mission: To design and build products that help creators promote merchandise to TikTok users, driving sales for merchants through strategic merchandising and affiliate operations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Optimization: Continuously optimize the affiliate merchandising strategy to enhance the quality and quantity of potential viral affiliate products.
• Data Analysis: Design strategic indicator systems, conduct in-depth merchandise data analysis, and monitor performance to provide valuable business insights.
• Campaign Formulation: Formulate product assortment strategies for various creator campaigns and programs to motivate creator engagement and achieve affiliate program goals.
• Project Leadership: Organize and coordinate cross-departmental resources to lead diverse merchandising projects from conception to execution.
• Experience Enhancement: Work closely with affiliate merchandise product teams to optimize the creator merchandising experience and resolve identified pain points.

• Background: Currently pursuing an MBA degree. Career level: Student.
• Experience: Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and an affinity for numbers and data analysis.
• Bonus: Strong knowledge and experience of live streaming, established connections with creators and creator agencies, and familiarity with content-based e-commerce platforms.
