About the Role
The Cattle Feeder Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the cattle feeder industry to help grow the new LivestockMarket.com website at Sandhills Global.

What You’ll Do
• Learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services
• Focus on new market development within the cattle feeder industry
• Contact sellers within the cattle feeder and livestock industries and educate them on our products and services
• Explain our websites and how to enter their own information
• Enter listings for sellers
• Handle in-bound and outbound customer calls and email communications
• Gather information on shows and meetings in the industry
• Research the cattle feeder and livestock industries and the proper way to list the information on our site
• Provide feedback from the industry
• Build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve
• Focus heavily on customer service and sales
• Assist in the implementation of a variety of tasks
• Work as a team to help assure the success of the websites and publications
• Assume other duties as assigned

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Have prior experience or knowledge in the cattle feeder industry or have experience working on a feedlot
• Have the ability to commute when scheduled to the local office
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Are able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
• Are results oriented
• Are flexible and open to change
• Have a stable and progressive work history
• Possess a professional appearance and demeanor

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Paid at $20/hour
• Can start at any point in the semester, with new hires starting every single week
