Versant Academic Year Internships: Entertainment Content & Creative | Versant Media
The Tone:
This is an academic year internship at Versant Media, located in Los Angeles, CA. Versant Media is a leading force in news, sports, and entertainment, home to iconic and trusted brands such as USA Network, CNBC, Fandango, and Rotten Tomatoes. This role offers students the opportunity to build foundational skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain exposure to how a modern media organization operates. The program is designed to invest in emerging talent and support early career development within the company’s entertainment division.
The TL;DR

• Type: Part-time (24 hours per week)
• Location: In-person, Los Angeles, CA
• Pay: $19 hourly
• Team: Within Versant Entertainment, supporting multiple entertainment brands
• Mission: To support marketing, partnerships, and operations across various entertainment brands to help them reach and engage audiences.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to marketing efforts for various entertainment brands, potentially including Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and USA Network.
• Support partnerships and operations across multiple entertainment platforms within the Versant portfolio.
• Participate in projects that span different brands, gaining exposure to campaign development and execution.
• Assist with strategy and initiatives designed to help platforms engage audiences across film, TV, and digital experiences.
• Focus on tasks within entertainment creative, contributing to content development and related initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire program duration OR have a graduation date in Spring 2026. Must have a current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Experience: Ability to work 24 hours per week on-site at the Los Angeles, CA office from September 14th, 2026 through April 16th, 2027. Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring current or future work visa sponsorship from Versant Media.
• Skills: Demonstrated curiosity, motivation, and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Preferred class standing of junior or above; cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; strong interest in the media industry; previous internship experience and on-campus involvement.
