About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Offensive Application Security Intern to join our team. This role involves conducting simulated attacks on web and mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities, exploit weaknesses, and recommend robust defenses, contributing to proactive security in fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Do
• Conduct hands-on penetration testing and simulated attacks on web, mobile, and API applications
• Perform regular code reviews and threat modeling with development and DevOps teams to embed security in the SDLC
• Develop and maintain custom exploit tools and scripts in Python, Bash, or JavaScript for automated testing
• Research emerging threats via conferences, CTF challenges, and bug bounty programs
• Collaborate on solo and team projects, including shaping security policies
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate issues
• Stay abreast of emerging threats like OWASP Top 10 risks

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field of study with a graduation date between 2027-2028
• Have experience with secure architecture design
• Possess security experience in one or more of: C, C++, PHP, Go, x86, ARM, CAN, cryptography, reverse engineering, wireless networks
• Have a strong understanding of common web vulnerabilities with SQLi, XSS, CSRF and exploit development
• Possess strong penetration testing experience
• Have experience auditing code and features
• Are actively enrolled in an academic program
• Are able to work a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site
• If an international student with CPT, can work 40 hours per week on-site

Bonus Qualifications
• Participation in Capture the Flag (CTF) events is ideal
• Loves to play CTFs
• Possesses strong programming skills in languages like Python or JavaScript
• Has interest in ethical hacking
