Recruiter Trainee | Actalent

The Tone:
This is an entry-level, in-person role at Actalent, a company with global headquarters outside of Baltimore, MD. What You’ll Actually Do
• Understand Needs: Meet with hiring managers to comprehend their staffing requirements.
• Source & Screen: Identify and evaluate qualified professionals through various recruiting tools, interviews, and reference checks, learning about their goals, skills, and interests to ensure alignment.
• Facilitate Placements: Communicate work opportunities and prepare consultants for starting their new roles.
• Build Relationships: Perform critical relationship-building activities, including coaching for interviews and maintaining engagement throughout their employment to ensure satisfaction.
• Network Maintenance: Maintain a robust network of consultants that align with top industry-specific skill sets to be seen as a partner in career advancement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level.
• Experience: Experience in customer service, leadership, or sales is a plus. Experience collaborating in a team-oriented environment is also sought.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; a desire to thrive in a performance-based work environment.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree.
