What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Feature Development: Guide the design, development, and deployment of complex features and services for the core platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate on Requirements: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and user experiences.
• Develop Full-Stack Code: Produce clean, well-tested, and maintainable code across the full stack, including front-end components, API services, and database interactions.
• Influence Architecture: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of the technology stack and system design.
• Mentor Engineers: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and associated tools; strong command of a back-end programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, Ruby) for building APIs; in-depth understanding of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) database technologies; experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architecture; proficiency with Git.
• Bonus: Master’s degree; experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; prior experience in a startup or scale-up environment; experience with real-time applications or distributed systems; knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright); contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal technical portfolio.
