• Team: Works within the engineering organization, collaborating with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers.
• Mission: Responsible for the end-to-end development of features, from database design and API development to front-end user interfaces.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the full software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of web applications.
• Develop: Develop robust and scalable back-end services using Node.js or Python, designing RESTful APIs, and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Craft: Craft engaging and responsive front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js or Vue.js, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Contribute: Contribute to architectural discussions and help define the technical roadmap for our products.
• Mentor: Mentor junior engineers, provide constructive feedback during code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, suitable for a senior-level software engineer.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, including strong proficiency in back-end (Node.js or Python) and extensive experience with modern front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular). Deep understanding of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, alongside experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Skills: Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, alongside excellent problem-solving skills for debugging complex issues. Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Pytest. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile, experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, and knowledge of GraphQL.
