What You’ll Actually Do
• Development Lead: Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications and services.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Mentorship: Serve as a technical mentor and coach for less experienced engineers, supporting their growth and skill development.
• Architectural Contribution: Contribute to the evolution of system architecture by proposing and evaluating new technologies and approaches to enhance the platform.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with professional software development experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, including extensive work with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design, demonstrating the ability to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software applications.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js; a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles; experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra); and excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices, knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), experience with message queues or streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), or prior experience leading technical projects.
