What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain Product Presentation: Ensure grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen, and dairy cases are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing, performing front-facing, stock rotation, and removal of out-of-date items to uphold product quality standards.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Address customer needs promptly and effectively, model suggestive selling techniques, and courteously handle phone and page inquiries to enhance the shopping experience and maximize sales potential.
• Ensure Operational Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health, sanitation, and safe work practices, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment and promptly reporting hazards.
• Manage Inventory and Reduce Waste: Monitor products to prevent spoilage, accurately communicate waste to leadership, maintain organized back stock, and assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Support Store Readiness: Complete assigned opening, mid, and closing duties, verify the accuracy of signs and pricing, and keep sample areas full, clean, and appealing to support overall store operations.
