About the Year Up United Program

Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to equip young adults with the skills and opportunities needed to launch a professional career. This program offers a comprehensive approach to career development, combining in-classroom skill development with practical work experience.

Program Components:

  • In-classroom Skill Development: Gain foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in high-demand fields.
  • Access to Internships: Opportunity to secure internships with leading organizations in the California Bay Area.
  • Job Placement Services: Support through our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement.
  • Personalized Coaching and Mentorship: Receive ongoing guidance and support throughout the program.
  • Educational Stipend: Participants receive an educational stipend during the program.

Internship Opportunities:

If you receive an internship, you may be placed at prominent companies such as Salesforce, Workday, or PayPal, among other leading organizations in the California Bay Area (Pleasant Hill, San Francisco, San Jose).

Are You Eligible?

You can apply to Year Up United if you meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A high school graduate or GED recipient.
  • Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Availability: Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program.
  • Motivation: Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
  • Prior Education: Have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Note: You may be required to answer additional screening questions when applying.
