The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Westfield Bank, located primarily in Ware, MA, with local travel as needed. Westfield Bank provides essential financial services to its customers. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional front-line customer service and accurately handling daily financial transactions, ensuring the bank operates smoothly and customers receive reliable support.

• Team: Individual Contributor reporting to the Branch Manager
• Mission: This person owns the direct customer experience by accurately processing transactions and addressing inquiries while adhering to banking standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide prompt and professional service, adhere to established customer service standards, and assist with customer inquiries and problems as they arise.
• Transaction Processing: Independently perform all teller transactions and related services, including processing deposits and withdrawals for new and existing customers.
• Cash Management: Maintain the security of the cash drawer and accurately prove the cash drawer at the end of each day.
• Product Engagement: Provide information regarding bank products to potential retail and commercial customers, meeting assigned referral goals.
• Branch Operations Support: Float between various Westfield Bank locations as required, assist with balancing the ATM, and support customers with Safe Deposit services.
• Regulatory Compliance: Complete all assigned BSA, AML, and other regulatory and continuing education, adhering to bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to the position.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Must meet balancing requirements.
• Skills: Strong customer relations, accountability, decision making/judgment, job knowledge, and quality in work performance.
• Bonus: At least six months of cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
