What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-quality full-stack applications and services, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development, including comprehensive testing.
• Collaborate & Deliver: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative features.
• Architect Backends: Architect and implement robust backend APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) and microservices in languages like Go, Python, or Node.js, ensuring strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Develop User Interfaces: Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, with a solid understanding of web performance and accessibility.
• Foster Excellence: Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge to foster technical excellence, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and development processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in full-stack software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with a strong portfolio of shipped products, combined with extensive experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Go, Python, Node.js, Java, C#), expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, distributed systems, and experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Bonus: Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client/Server, knowledge of data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka), experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda), familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform), or previous experience in a tech lead or mentoring role.
