Role Description: Financial Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic full-time Financial Advisor to join our team in the Greater Asheville area. This is an on-site position where you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert financial guidance and fostering long-term relationships with clients. As a Financial Advisor, you will be instrumental in helping individuals and families navigate their financial landscape by:

  • Providing Expert Financial Guidance: Offering strategic advice and insights tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and goals.
  • Crafting Tailored Financial Plans: Developing comprehensive and personalized financial strategies that encompass various aspects of wealth management.
  • Managing Investment Portfolios: Overseeing and optimizing client investment portfolios to align with risk tolerance and growth objectives.
  • Assisting with Retirement Planning Strategies: Guiding clients through the complexities of retirement planning, helping them build secure and sustainable futures.
  • Conducting Face-to-Face Client Consultations: Engaging directly with clients to understand their needs, review progress, and adapt plans as necessary.
  • Developing Clear Objectives: Collaborating with clients to define measurable financial objectives and a roadmap to achieve them.
  • Delivering Comprehensive Advisory Services: Ensuring clients receive holistic and continuous support to meet their evolving long-term financial needs.

Qualifications

To excel in this critical role, we are looking for a professional with the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory: Demonstrated ability to provide strategic, personalized, and actionable guidance to clients.
  • Strong Understanding of Investments and Retirement Planning: Expertise in developing tailored solutions that address wealth accumulation, preservation, and distribution for retirement.
  • In-depth Knowledge of Finance Principles: A solid grasp of financial markets, economic indicators, and effective financial management strategies.
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly, build strong client relationships, and foster trust and rapport.
  • Relationship-Building Expertise: A natural ability to connect with diverse individuals, understand their unique situations, and build lasting partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related field is required.
  • Relevant Certifications (A Plus): Professional designations such as CFP or CFA are highly desirable and demonstrate advanced expertise.

  • Previous Experience: Prior experience in financial advising, wealth management, or financial planning is highly desirable and will be given preference.
