Junior Operations Associate | Lime
The Tone:
This is an early career role at Lime, located in San Francisco, CA, requiring an onsite presence Monday through Friday in a warehouse environment. Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, dedicated to building a future where transportation is shared, affordable, and carbon-free through its electric bikes and scooters, having powered over a billion rides worldwide. This role is pivotal for optimizing fleet operations, coordinating team efforts both in the warehouse and in the field, and serving as the local expert to address the unique needs of riders. You will directly contribute to the evolution of mobility solutions in San Francisco and ensure the company’s operational success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Development: Onboard, train, and coach Mechanics and Fleet Support staff to ensure efficient deployment and retrieval of shared electric vehicles, fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture.
• Fleet Compliance Management: Lead the real-time monitoring of the SFMTA ticket queue, strategically assigning tasks to field teams to resolve SFMTA and 311 reports within strict SLA windows, ultimately maintaining a 90% compliance rating and preventing costly city fines.
• Warehouse Operational Excellence: Identify and share best practices to enhance operational efficiency within the warehouse, contributing to Lime’s global community of excellence while supporting a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Vehicle Maintenance & Readiness: Oversee vehicle maintenance and quality checks, manage battery inventory, and ensure vehicles are fully operational and ready for deployment to meet market demands.
• Performance Tracking & Issue Reporting: Assist warehouse leadership in tracking key performance indicators such as repairs per hour, tasks per hour, and backlog, and identify and report operational or product-related issues to support customer satisfaction and service incident resolution.
The Must-Haves
• Background: 1 year of experience in a professional setting, such as an internship or entry-level operations role, with exposure to operational processes and workforce management.
• Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and a clean driving record, along with experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
• Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English, familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets, and the ability to understand data to assist with decisions around cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Bonus: Demonstrate a safety-oriented mindset, an entrepreneurial approach with a readiness to take on increasing levels of responsibilities, and a commitment to enhancing stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
