Banking Associate | TD

• Mission: To accurately complete everyday banking transactions and provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transactions: Accurately process a wide range of everyday banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and opening new accounts, both on the teller line and platform.
• Customer Advice: Provide end-to-end financial advice, educate customers on banking products and services, and offer consultative support with proactive insights.
• Relationship Deepening: Utilize TD’s systems to engage with customers, identify their financial needs, and promote relevant products and services or refer them to appropriate internal partners.
• Lead Management: Connect with customers and deepen relationships through managing self-generated and referred leads, conducting outreach calls, and scheduling appointments.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act, minimizing risk and protecting customer information.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED required. This is an early career role focused on direct customer engagement in a banking environment.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year working with customers in any capacity, which can include volunteering, education, or military experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated customer service skills, strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: Prior teller experience and/or a Notary License are preferred.
