What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Control & Maintenance: Systematically update and diligently maintain all project drawings, technical specifications, and various project logs, ensuring all documentation is current and easily accessible for project teams.
• Subcontractor Communications: Prepare and meticulously organize the distribution of essential project documents to subcontractors, facilitating clear communication and ensuring all parties receive necessary information promptly.
• Project Scheduling Assistance: Provide direct support in the ongoing maintenance and regular updating of Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, which are vital for tracking project timelines and milestones.
• Request for Information (RFI) and Submittal Management: Assist proactively in the processing of RFIs and submittals, carefully tracking and maintaining detailed logs within the CMS system and other relevant platforms to streamline information flow.
• Data Input and Reporting: Accurately input data required for labor cost reports and field quantity surveys, and contribute to the documentation for the Affirmative Action program, providing foundational support for project analysis and compliance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or possessing equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required, but practical exposure to project documentation or construction administration is beneficial.
• Skills: Ability to interpret project plans and specifications, effective written and verbal English communication, and demonstrated capacity for independent judgment and initiative.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of estimating and scheduling principles, along with proficiency in drafting and general computer applications.
